The Applefactory is located on the beautiful and serenely isolated island of Färingsö just outside of Stockholm, and is affectionately known as Sweden's smallest factory. We use localy grown and ecological apples, raspberrys and rhubarbs.  All of our items are handcrafted and made with care to produce the healthiest and most environmentally friendly products possible. Small batches of only three litres are produced at a time so we can guarantee the highest quality and best flavors. Additionally, we use only true cane sugar and organic ingredients to ensure a completely satisfying experience.

We maintain and harvest traditional Swedish apple varieties from the beautiful islands of Ekerö. The King of Sweden also resides in this area and if you're lucky, he may even be here at the same time you decide to visit!

The Applefactory produces a variety of different marmelades, chutneys, butters, glazes, syrups, jellies, dried appelrings and our gold medal winning glögg, a traditional mulled wine from Sweden. A total of a 40 different products that vary throughout the season, all based on either recipes from our books which date back to the 1700s, or our very own creations which we have perfected over time.

You can buy everything in our farm shop and cafe every Friday - Sunday from 12.00 to 16.00 until the 20st of December. And while you're here, feel free to enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee, a nice piece of cake or an ice-cold Rubarb nectar in our greenhouse or kitchen garden and just relax for a moment....

A perfect excursion to a "secret" paradise.

The Applefactory has been known to the public through it´s high quality and exclusive enviroment. Here from a TV Channel 4 reportage.

Visitors to Stockholm love to take a tour out to this exclusive shop and café.It just adds that little extra experience to your Stockholm visit.

The building where the Applefactory is situated was built 1898 and the area is of great cultural historic interest. The National Archives recently found out on maps from 1640 that the first apple orchards in Sweden actually were situated in the very same area as the Applefactory.
